As a young boy in Calabria, Italy, I soon learned that my mother's kitchen was the center of love and warmth. Every day after working on the family farm my mother and sisters would create the most delicious food to be shared by all. The 1970's brought my family to America to join my grandfather in Troy, New York. I realized that my American friends loved to gather in my mother's kitchen to sample her delicious food. “Someday Gerardo, you too will share your good food with others." As a young adult I returned to Italy to become a professional in my trade. Touring the coast of Italy and training throughout Europe. Now settled in Guilderland with my wife and daughters, I invite you to share Italian creations inspired by the love of my mother nonna Maria.
